RO not switching on
No power, the indicator is off, or the pump is not running.
Power nathi, indicator band chhe, ke pump chaltu nathi.
Why this happens
- No power at the socket, or a faulty adaptor (SMPS)
- A loose connection or a tripped switch
- A stuck float switch (it thinks the tank is full)
- A pump failure
Safe checks you can try
- Check the socket has power and the adaptor light is on
- Try another socket
- Check whether the tank is actually full (the RO stops correctly when full)
- A dead adaptor or pump needs a technician to replace the SMPS or pump
The RO stops on its own when the tank is full. That is normal, not a fault.

Tank full thay tyare RO jaate band thay chhe. E normal chhe, vaank nathi.
